It is built on top of Microsoft’s Windows SharePoint Services and integrates with SharePoint Portal Server. Some of the components include:

• Web reports: allow end-users to create and manage their own reports.

• Federated Search & Profiling: ties in results from various search engines and application. Profiling will track search string done by users and link these users together.

• Smart Alerts: a central alert mechanism where users can manage and define how and when they want alerts to be sent.

• Web Top: users are able to personalize the look and feel of the portal as well as to configure and organize the navigation links that are available to them in a manner that sense.
