Everything we have published
Filter by voice, or read both. The business column is written for the person who has to sign for it; the engineering column is written by the people who built the thing.
He replaced his software vendor in a weekend
He closed a three-year feature gap on a Saturday. The build was the impressive part. What happens next is the part nobody plans for.
Engineering NotesUnderstanding plain English
We added a natural-language assistant to a procurement system that already worked. The hard part was never getting it to answer. It was getting it to stop.
How a new post gets published
Posts live in one list at the top of _build/p_insights.py. Add an entry there and it appears here, on the home page and on every service page.
Give it an href once its article page exists. Leave it out and the post lists as plain text, so a post is never blocked on a page nobody has written yet.
Talk to us
Want us to write about your problem?
If there is a question you keep running into and cannot find an honest answer to, tell us. Usually a few hundred other businesses are stuck on the same thing.
What we will not write
- No named clients without consent. Where a post uses real work, it is anonymised and says so.
- No numbers we cannot source. If a figure has no link, it does not go in.
- No posts that are secretly a pitch. If the honest answer is “do not build this”, that is the post.
- Nothing written by a model and left there. A person’s name is on every one.
